Therapeutic programmes for young people 12 years and over
G-map provides individual therapeutic programmes, groupwork and family work. We have developed a structured approach to therapeutic intervention that draws on several theoretical models and uses a variety of techniques and practical methods within an overall cognitive/behavioural framework.
Most young people will benefit from a combined programme of group and individual work. We have links with several residential child-care establishments in the North West of England and we offer an inclusive intensive therapeutic programme in collaberation with one establishment that offers a high level of supervision and management for young people who present significant levels of risk.
Individualised work packages can include:
- Custom designed individual programmes
- Lead and support worker model
- Groupwork based on small groups
- Family work
- Feedback link systems
- Regular reviews including written reports
- Re-assessment
- Individual follow-up and maintenance
- Support for carers
